Abstract
This research project aims at further developing the gauge approach to gravity, further studying the definitions and properties of the energy, momentum, and angular momentum of the gravitational field within the gauge-theoretic approach, with the purpose of applying to the description of (both weak and strong) gravitational radiation and interaction of the gravitational waves with matter. The project includes also a study of de Sitter special relativity, as well as possible applications of this theory to the accelerated expansion of the universe and to the quantum gravity problem.
