Abstract
This project aims to support the visit of Prof. Kamchatnov to IFT-UNESP for a period of six monthes. Research is focused on the theory of nonlinear waves and specifically centered on the developement of asymptotic methods in modulation theory, particularly for the Camassa-Holm and generalized KdV equations.
