Abstract

Purpose of the study is to carry out theoretical and numerical analysis of optimal (in terms of minimum propellant consumption) transfers of different types in the extended Earth vicinity including the L1 and L2 Sun-Earth Lagrange points. Both impulsive and low thrust is to be considered for the transfers. Different constraints on the launch conditions and thrust direction are to be analyzed. (AU)
