Critic to development and space political economy

Critic to development and space political economy encompasses the critical understanding of modernization in periphery capitalism point of view. The analysis follows the statement that modernization is made by a division between center and periphery, so, whose effectiveness is under the modern determinations of simultaneity. It means that both centre and periphery are contradictory poles of the same unity, so that they are not social forms of the capital being that shelter an unleveled temporal mean. Contrary, the centre formation of capitalism is immediately the periphery formation that, otherwise, appears as if it was delay related to the centre. This simultaneity, negativity of temporal distinction, is the space as analytical method. If tempo is the spatial appearance form, as form of the real being and method to adequate itself to this temporal understanding of modernization is a fetishist form of capital process' conscientiousness. The explanation of this methodological question is the content of the introduction. From this aspect the form of scientific thinking in humanities sciences based on this temporal fetishism is pointed out how is constituted on periphery, chiefly in sociology, economy and geography, localized on 50th. For this form constitutes the prelude aspects of industrial modernization in Brazil. The critic recognizes the formation of a thinking that rankers the industrialization and the categories of capital joining the terms of a developing lecture about Brazil what constitutes a political economy that is not the critic of economy politic, so. Otherwise, under the understanding of the simultaneity is pointed out that the periphery is no longer less modern than the centre, contrary, constitutes itself in a negative form of the capital being, so the negative and positive is its contradictory totality. If economy and other sciences expected the Brazilian industrialization as an overcoming of capital contradictions, they did not observe that its agrarian reality was form of industrialization being, cause is the social medium time of world industrialization, determined by industrialization that defined its form of being as agricultural in periphery. It is to say, negatively the industrialization was a simultaneity related to the centre. To realize this approach, it is analyzed data of São Paulo state industrialization in 30ths, with data also original of North American economy before Second World War. In this way is expressed that the so called São Paulo state industrialization is a result of the overacumulation of North America capitalism. The expectative of national Brazilian industrialization it already was simultaneity of crises. This is what compound the second moment of the book. In view of the periphery contradiction's particular form of being of centre and periphery, it is observed that the scission between field side and urban in west São Paulo, in 50ths, after coffee crises, is the formation of urban nucleus that make dynamic the rural family work. This constitutes the simultaneous aspects, related to the centre, of world industrialization that, in periphery, is what I call as negative industrialization. These aspects are also founded on original empiric research about land property selling whose smaller size of properties is from the division of coffee farms of west São Paulo state. This research was realized in Colonization, Immigration and Agricultural Company (CAIC). Those contents compounds the third and last moment of the book. (AU)
