Development and evaluation of new computer technics to enable the provision of quality of service in SOA architectures

Abstract

This research highlights the importance of a more detailed scientific research in the aspect of the main challenges related to performance of service-oriented architectures (SOA). The project represents the continuation of research conducted with funding from FAPESP for a doctorate at the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Sicence. (ICMC-USP). Thus, the main objectives of this project are the development of new computational techniques to enable the provision of quality of service in SOA. Investigations will be conducted to contribute to the state of the art and facilitate the development of service-oriented architecture applications. As part of the investigation, taxonomies already presented in the literature will be used to enable the prototype as a more friendly architecture and an alternative to current SOA architectures. Reaching the goal is estimated that the WSARCH architecture will be a reference to address performance issues in SOA, assisting both scientists and industry in the most appropriate choice of scenarios to develop services which require large computational demands in different contexts.
