Concentratios of nitrogen and potassium in nutritive solution upon sweet pepper cultivated in coconut fiber

Abstract

The objective of this study is to evaluate concentrations of N and K in the nutrient solution upon sweet pepper grown in coconut fiber, without drip irrigation drainage nutrient solution. The experiment will be conducted in a protected environment in the period from January 2012 to June 2012, at UNESP in Jaboticabal, SP, located at 21 ° 14'39 "S 48 ° 17'12" W and 550 m in altitude. The hybrid is grown in the EPPO spacing of 1.1 x 0.4 m in coconut fiber substrate, fertigation with nutrient solution when the voltage reaches the substrate moisture -4 kPa. The 16 treatments result from the combination of concentrations of N (6, 9, 12 and 15 mmol L-1) and K (3, 5, 7 and 9 mmol L-1) in the nutrient solution in experimental design of randomized, 4 x 4 factorial design with three replications. Will be evaluated growth, nutritional status and yield of sweet pepper, as well as chemical characteristics of the substrate during the cycle. (AU)
