Dentin bond strength of adhesive system associated to Nd:YAG laser


This study will evaluate the bond strength of a self-etch adhesive to dentin, associated with the Nd: YAG laser. 96 dentin surface of bovine incisors will be used, divided into six groups: a) AC - Control Clearfil SE Bond; b) AL60 - Clearfil SE Bond + Nd: YAG laser 60mJ/10Hz + photopolymerization; c) AL80 - Clearfil SE Bond + Nd: YAG laser 80mJ//10Hz + photopolymerization d) AL100 - Clearfil SE Bond + Nd: YAG laser 100mJ/10Hz + photopolymerization; e) AL120 - Clearfil SE Bond + Nd: YAG laser 120mJ/10Hz + photopolymerization f) AL140 - Clearfil SE Bond + Nd: YAG laser 140 mJ/10Hz + photopolymerization. The composite resin Z-350 will be inserted with a teflon matrix and light cured. After storage for 48 h in distilled water at 37° C, will take place sections on the teeth to obtain samples with adhesive area of 1 mm2, followed by microtensile test in a universal testing machine EMIC speed of 0.5 mm / min and cell load of 10kg. For the statistical evaluation of results will be observed if they follow a normal distribution, and from these data, we choose the most appropriate statistical test, parametric or nonparametric.
