Analysis of the inclusive process in the towns of Araras (SP) and Alfenas (MG): institutional cooperation between UFSCar and UNIFAL-MG

Abstract

To explore the subject of the schoolar inclusion of students with special educational needs refers to the analysis of the organizational and structural challenges of the public schools in Brazil. And this analysis commits itself in the argument of the absence of resources and formation of the professors as well as what concernes to the comportamental barriers of the professionals involved with the thematic. Like this, aiming to contribute with the inclusive educational reality this project proposes the achievement of a mapping of the conditions of schoolar inclusion in the towns of Araras (SP) and Alfenas (MG), as much as the organizational and physical conditions of the schools, representations and conceptions that the professionals involved with this process have about the special educational needs and the inclusive education. For so much, the research will count on the participation of 100 professionals linked to the Porgrama Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação à Docencia (PIBID), of the two regions, and by means of the application of questionnaires and realization of interviews will seek to reach the objectives of the project. The facts and information obtained will be analyzed so much quantitative as qualitatively and they could contribute for the understanding of the conditions, practical and conceptions that base the inclusive process. So this research can also favor the evaluation of the PIBID that has like one of his objectives the improvement of the quality of the national education and enable the delineation of the actions that already were takings for the inclusive process and what the schools still needs to the establishment of a democratic school. The construction of a democratic school seeks the construction of an environment in which all of the students independently of its differences can obtain an education of quality. (AU)
