Abstract
The project presented here is proposed by Nomads.usp as an Associated Laboratory [LA] related to the Intermidia Laboratory [LDJ, aiming at proposing activities in e-learning, of both EXPLORATORY RESEARCH and LEARNING ACTIONS. These two instances of work will occur parallelly, throughout 24 months. The objective of both of them is to produce specific and evaluated results, contributing to explore possibilities of e-learning related to the field of Design. Nomads.usp is a research group of the University of Sao Paulo whose interests have been focusing connections between Architecture, Design, and the so called Information and Communication Technologies, In the research axes Habitation and Virtuality, we investigate those relationships in some different ways: either at the urban scale, searching to include existing communities into mediated communication processes; or at the building scale, producing research and design works on new architectural design paradigms; or at the furniture scale, exploring possibilities of design of furniture and objects with integrated media.
