Evaluation lysine, isoleucine, and valine digestible relation of the laying hens diet

Abstract

The aim of this study is to evaluate the performance, egg quality, nitrogen balance, quantification of amino acids in the blood of laying hens fed diets based on corn and soybean meal (experiment 1) and with the inclusion of meat and bone meal (experiment 2) receiving different relationships isoleucine: lysine and valine: lysine and a control diet formulated on the basis of crude protein. In each experiment will be distributed 640 Isa Brown hens at 25 weeks of age in a randomized design, which received ten treatments with eight replications of eight hens each. The hens received the experimental diets for eleven cycles of 28 days, and at the end of each cycle will be evaluate the performance characteristics (feed intake, egg production, egg weight, egg mass, feed conversion and viability) and egg quality (specific gravity, Haugh unit, yolk index, percentage of constituents and shell thickness). At the end of the experiments will be conducted one metabolism trial to quantify the levels of nitrogen (N) in the feces of hens and estimated the bioavailability of N, above from blood collection to assess the blood concentration of amino acids. The experiments will be a factorial 3x3+1 and the data collected will be submitted to ANOVA using the SAS program and the averages are compared by Tukey test at 5% probality. (AU)
