Abstract

In this project we will analyze the cognitive processes needed to the Physics problems resolution, using the Bloom's taxonomy, in tertiary entrance examinations applied in the State University of Campinas, Unicamp, Brazil. The emphasis in these questions concerning the first phase of the exam reflects the possibility to follow the answers of approximately 800 thousand candidates, both from public and private system. We will monitor the performance of students associated with three variables: degree of education of the mother, family income and the frequency preparatory courses for college entrance. (AU)
