Abstract

The research aims to evaluate, together with teachers and future teachers, teaching materials on the Social Cognitive Theory, to be developed specifically for this study. The material will be organized in texts and video programs of short duration. Both productions will be called Social Cognitive Theory: reflections on promoting educational practices, differing by the shape and level of approach of the content of each modality. It is expected to have the support of 100 teachers and 100 students, future teachers of Basic Education. They are supposed to respond and comment on the instruments the educational material on each topic, and discuss the importance and relevance of the theoretical and potential contribution to professional practice. Data collection with teachers and future teachers will be done in two ways, face and distance. It is believed that this research realization will open important interface for the contributions arising from the social cognitive theory. (AU)
