Abstract

The study will evaluate the in vitro effectiveness of biosilicato and fluoride gel to reduce or eliminate the dentin permeability before and after challenges acids in the diet. To do this, we use 100 young teeth extracted which will be removed from the crown, the pulp removed, and on one side, in the neck, the cement is removed to expose the dentin, only this part of the tooth will be exposed as the rest will be covered with black enamel, then the fragment root will be adapted to an acrylic base that will be adapted in a pressure device. The permeability is measured by the output of fluid through the dentin that was exposed. In the teeth of the study groups will apply the biosilicato and fluoride gel in accordance with the methodology proposed and submitted to the following acidic juices from the diet: lemon, orange, pineapple, cherry, grape juice, vinegar, white wine, cola, lemon-flavored Gatorade, orange juice industrialized. The results will be analyzed by appropriate statistics. (AU)
