Specific Language Impairment (SLI) has significant incidence among disturbances that affect normal acquisition and development of language. International literature estimates that around 5% of children population has SLI. Studying communication profile of this group of children is crucial for its diagnosis, which depends on exclusion of broader pathologies as well as inclusion of atypical language development. One aspect of language that is not widely studied in SLI children is fluency, although other aspects such as phonology, semantics, morphosyntaxe and pragmatics also need accurate continued investigation. Language productions involve the conceptualization of a message (communicative intention), its formulation into linguistic structures and the motor execution of speech, which conveys the message (Levelt, 1989 , apud Guo, Tomblin & Samelson, 2008). Therefore, fluent speech production depends on the activation of semantic, phonological and syntactic information, influenced by contextual information (Seiger-Gardner & Schwartz, 2008). It also involves smoothly and skillfully moving various parts of the vocal tract, so that syllabic intelligibility is continuously and rapidly produced.the general purpose of the present study is to investigate the occurrence of disfluencies during narrative production of SLI children, using stimuli with increasing processing complexity given by the explicity of the characters mental stateAfter data analysis, the findings will allow us to understand this aspect of SLI children's communication with higher accuracy, which will certainly influence both improvement of SLI's knowledge and children's rehabilitation process.
