Miscible displacement monitoring in soil applied by fertigation in peanut crop

Abstract

Due to the economical importance of the peanut crop, the techniques development for the solute monitoring is fundamental looking for economical return as well supplying subsidies for computational models application, using water-soil-plant-climate relationship, generating a solute profile in soil (calcium and potassium), under climatic variables influence. Therefore, the objective with this work is to verify the solute dynamics of calcium and potassium in soil, applied by fertigation in the peanut crop, under the solar radiation influence and another climatic variable. Will be used in the experiment 12 boxes filled with soil, where three situations will be considered: without cover, plastic covering with thickness of 100 micra and 150 micra. Was used a entirely random statistical design, factorial 3 x 4, with 3 replicates, therefore, 12 treatments. The factors will correspond to three situations of the solar radiation incidence and 4 irrigation heights (25%, 50%, 75% and 100% of the calcium and potassium concentrations). The replicates will correspond to the three planting lines that will be appraised in each box. In each planting line, three peanut seedlings will be cultivated, and four solution extractors will be installed, in 15 and 25 cm depths. For the irrigation schedulling, a tensiometer will be used for each box. The extractors and the TDR technique TDR will estimate the solute displacement of calcium and potassium ions monitoring in soil, by solution application. (AU)
