Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the HIV, hepatitis and syphilis risk infection related concerning the risk behavior. The drug use mainly the injecting way besides sexual behavior and violence as well are closed related to them. In order to carried out this study we will reach a simple of 650 prisoners from a Sao Vicente prison. These subjects will be interviewed by a standard questionnaire that aims to evaluate trough indicators, the sexual and drug use behavior. One of the objectives is to obtain the prevalence of HIV, HBV, HCV and syphilis infection in this specific group. The study intends to approach the violence related aspects concerning traffic of drugs, especially crack-cocaine. As these subjects handle a high risk infections transmission, the frequencies measurements allow us an evaluation, even summary, of the way how these infections run in the prisonal environment and also the infections risk transmission individually seen, identifying vulnerable intervention sets.
