Elaboration of the part of the grammar of Portuguese spoken in Brazil which concerns grammatical relations, based on a systematic analysis of a corpus extracted from the recording of the NURC project, around the following topics: 1) order: - rupturing elements on constituent frontiers; - order within syntagmas; 2) grammatical relations and functional categories: predication, complementation and adjunction; 3) articulation syntactic structures, phonological processes: - the role of intonation in the relations subject/predicate, topic/commentary, in adjunction; - intonation and speech fillers; - rhythmic patters and collocation of clitics; 4) syntax-discourse interface: "speech” fillers; 5) variation in its syntactic (order) and prosodic manifestations.
