Abstract
The project focuses on the challenges associated with gauge fixing in Einstein-Cartan (EC) theory, which involves multiple gauge symmetries, and explores how gauge parameters affect Green's functions and physical amplitudes. By applying Ward and Nielsen identities, the project seeks to ensure the gauge independence of observable quantities. The collaboration between researchers from the University of São Paulo and the University of Western Ontario aims to perform one-loop calculations, develop computational tools using Mathematica's xAct package, and compare the results with established gauge theories such as Yang-Mills (YM) and Einstein-Hilbert (EH) theories. The expected outcomes include a deeper understanding of gauge fixing in EC theory and the possible identification of new inherent features of the theory. (AU)
