New approaches to sciences and mathematics at school: itineraries in art education

Abstract

This project is organized in two axes. The first axis is bibliographic research, which aims to raise studies that address education in general, and specifically, art and involvement in science and mathematics. The project is already included among all publications and all articulated areas and intends to be established among publications that, however, do not articulate between science education and the repertoire for science education. This subsidiary and other experiences in developing the training of future teachers, as well as the process of developing projects for future teachers. The second, axis related to the performance in two state schools, as the central workshop will carry out the new disciplinary proposals by the National Common Curricular Base, for the purpose of carrying out the use of technologies. This axis involves content from the disciplines of mathematics, science, arts, history, philosophy, among others, and aims at an articulated approach between the different areas. The idea is fruitful relationships with the formation of these areas of knowledge and artistic and cultural explorations that can benefit the participation of the students involved in the project, especially as a mechanism for resocialization after the period of remote teaching. The notion of "learning" that guides this axis does not mean the acquisition of knowledge, but experience and meaning, according to Gilles Deleuze (1925-1995). Thus, it is guided by ethics, focuses on practice and distances itself from lectures in which the teacher is at the center and the students in a passive position. A aims at an alternative action to traditional teaching, in philosophical terms and pedagogical proposals. It is intended to contemplate a cultural formation and not be limited to a rationalization of contents. It is proposed to carry out visits to museums, and exhibition, how to set up an exhibition at school and university, in addition to creating panels to compose the school environment. Cultural education is understood as fundamental for the teacher and students and, through this, it is envisaged to guide the cultural need. (AU)
