Abstract

The project aims to implement, along with basic education teachers, cross-sectional and interdisciplinary human rights education programs in schools, through activities of sensibility, experience, training and monitoring human rights in the everyday life of students, aside from actions to transform school spaces. The goal is to promote the integral development of children and adolescents, equity and respect towards difference, and prevent violence that is reproduced in school realities, especially with the Covid-19 pandemic. The proposal is to advance together with teachers and school officers the works that the Project Human Rights Observatories in Schools (PODHE) has developed, through the CEPID Project of the Center for the Study of Violence of the University of São Paulo, in state and municipal public education networks, and now expands to a public school in the city of Paulínia, in the State of São Paulo.
