Abstract

The discussion about the quality of education in Brazil takes place at educational levels induced and regulated by evaluation processes introduced by official public policies. Several evaluation processes have been implemented at the federal, state and municipal for different levels of education - child education, basic education, high school and higher education, to produce and guarantee a quality of education. The general objective of this project is to analyze possibilities of building social quality together with elementary school students from a public school in the interior of the state of São Paulo. It will be a study of a qualitative nature at the interface of dialogue between researchers, education professionals and public school students, in a collaborative research, which reveals and builds with students perceptions about the quality of their school. The research is intended to understand and contribute to the debate on the quality of education at the school expanding and deepening the theme together with public school students for understanding the (social) quality and indicators of social quality to support participatory evaluation processes, as a horizon a humanizing formation. Considering the post-pandemic period, to reinvigorate and reinforce the relationship between students and school, encourage the feeling of belonging and participation of students in the school, in order to recognize and build the social quality of the institution.
