Abstract
The research proposal of this project consists of a translation, and critical study, into Portuguese from the original German text established by Volker Spierling's 1913 edition of the lecture entitled "Metaphysics of Customs" (Methaphysik des Sittens) which deals with Philosopher's ethics and constitutes a kind of didactic synthesis and presentation of his considerations on moral philosophy, accompanied by a critical study of the fundamental topics of his ethics, such as: the concept of eternal justice, the concept of freedom of will and the thesis on the possibility of denying the will, and the notion of innate human culpability, the central point of his conception of the moral ordering of the world.
