Year Plan for Application of the Institutional Financial Support of EEL-USP (Base Year 2018)

Abstract

This project aims to provide improvements in the infrastructure of research laboratories in the areas of Biotechnology, Environmental Sciences, Chemical Engineering and Materials Engineering. It will also allow for the contracting of maintenance for the 6 energy generators in the two Areas of the Lorena Engineering School (EEL) of the University of São Paulo (USP), used to maintain the energy supply for the research facilities and internetnetwork during any interruptions of the external supply. These resources will be essential for maintaining the Institution's research activities, allowing for the adequate development of research projects. In this proposal, the resources made available by FAPESP for the Base Year 2018 will be used, in the total amount of R$ 67,741.98, in the following destinations: i) Analytical Central in Area I of EEL; ii) Laboratory for Electron Microscopy and Laboration for Corrosion in Area II of EEL; and iii) General Infrastructure for the entire Unit (EEL-USP).
