The company 7AgroScience has not yet been formally constituted via CNPJ, due to the latest restrictions on movements related to Covid-19, and this will occur as soon as there is a return to the possibility of travel. The Company is formed with the differential of specialists in different areas, covering agriculture, meteorology and information technology. 7AgroScience is developing an agrometeorological product, using data from automatic surface weather stations, to calculate the water balance, in order to inform the need for irrigation. This proposal aims to develop the nowcasting module through the implementation of digital solutions to support agricultural activities. The following products will be incorporated into the platform: nowcasting of rain and lightning, forecast for the next three days and seasonal trend exclusive to the selected field. One item strongly demand by farmers is the nowcasting. The nowcasting, in is real-time observation and its forecast up to a few hours. This need is clear, because when the producer (in small and medium properties) or operator (in large properties) is finalizing operations that require refilling such as fungicide tank and seed box, he needs to know whether those clouds and formations that approach in the vicinity will hit him or not. This project innovates in the aspect of using satellite databases and new algorithms to provide an immediate forecast to the rural producer, specifically for the selected field. (AU)
