In Brazil, there is some distance between the academic research developed by professors researchers and students of Master and PhD courses and the organizations of society in general. Especially the entrepreneurs of small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as startups in general, are dissociated from researchers students or already titled Masters and Doctorates by Stricto Sensu programs. In some areas of research in particular, this reality promotes a segregation between the academic research promoted by researchers and students of Stricto SENSU programs and the applied research desired and necessary to the evolution of processes, products and services and, consequently, the country as a whole. Considering this context, the objective of the project is to develop a crowdsourcing and open innovation Platform (PesqEmpreende) that allows integration into a unique environment of young researchers students or already titled (doctors, doctoral candidates, Masters, master candidates, specialists, undergraduates and students of technical courses), startups, small and medium-sized enterprises. The research will be divided into 04 stages: 1) bibliographic and/or Documental research to survey information; 2) field research; 3) conducting a controlled survey; 4) functional prototyping of the platform. As expected results, in the first moment we expect the development of a solution with functional design of the integration platform. The functional prototype will contemplate all the structural characteristics, techniques and functionalities foreseen for the operation of the platform. In addition, it is also expected the development and validation of a MVP (minimum viable product) to expose the structure of the platform and its main technical and functional characteristics. The platform should rely on different sources of predicted revenues, among which are the application of the freemium model for users of different profiles (researchers, entrepreneurs and companies), advertisements of products and services, as well as the sale of extension courses, and other possibilities of monetization of the business. The projected sources of revenue will enable the growth of the business, aiming its expansion to promote closer approximation of the different areas of research knowledge (and its researchers and organizations) to startups and small and medium-sized companies of different fields (Edutechs, Fintechs, Healthtechs, Agrotechs, Socialtechs). We also hope that the growth of the PesqEmpreende Portal can promote closer approximation between the professors researchers of educational institutions and Stricto Sensu programs (Master and Doctoral courses) and the entrepreneurs and professionals of the organizations of the Society, Thus providing the evolution of the professionals involved, their organizations and, consequently, the evolution of the country.
