Connection and locking system for multimodal station control designed for active mobility equipment

Abstract

Mobility is an important theme in the lives of citizens of large cities, impacting on traffic, the environment and the family budget. Companies are job-generating hubs, but the concentration of job offers also makes them traffic-generating hubs. Thus, commuting trips - home / work / home - demanded by the worker and partially met by public transport require complementarity for private transport, whether subsidized by the company - in the form of bus charter or vans - or embedded in the costs assumed by the worker, using cars, bicycles, motorcycles and other private transport equipment. As a more sustainable and economical private alternative, the private or public bicycle is gaining more and more fans and the offer of services such as those offered by Grow, Slime, Itaú or Bradesco stimulates the alternative car mobility ecosystem, increasing the range of offers to the user. However, new regulations require helmet use at the time of bicycle rental, requiring new products and service modalities to meet this market requirement. The aim of this research is to develop and refine a multimodal corporate mobility station that controls electric bicycles, scooters and tricycles - named wiigo - and has an integrated auto-recharging and connection device, providing the helmet and source for each location, allowing the user to move safely - within the rules set by CONTRAN - and, if necessary, to move to their home, recharge the equipment and return the next day (AU)
