Abstract

The photography has undergone significant mutant processes since the advent of digital technology and has held a supporting status for almost two decades in digital journalism as a complement to the texts. However, this reality is turning around. Currently, we find several digital technologies that not only promote high-quality photographic recording from mobile devices but also transform them into a fundamental message in multiplatform and/or transmedia reports, that is, through complex narratives, acting as agents. witness and social transformation. This exploratory research aims to study, from a methodological complex that basically comprises bibliographic research, ethnographic research, participant observation, and the quasi-experimental method, the effects and changes of paradigms in the field of social photojournalism (FREUND, 2015) contemporary, which shares with audiovisual and textual not only the look and the communicational process, but also its very existence. It is expected that, with the conclusion of the various stages of this project, called in this proposal as subprojects, subsidies for the development of new perspectives and concepts related to social photoreport in the new media ecology, capable of collaborating with the fulfillment of the 2030 Agenda, according with the objectives 10 and 16, which address Reduction of Inequalities and Peace, Justice and Effective Institutions, respectively.
