Complementary system for business management based on the concepts of industry 4.0 and Internet of Things

Abstract

The concepts related to Industry 4.0 and the Internet of Things are present and implemented in a vigorous way in the daily life of the technically advanced countries, which is still insipient in our country. But some factors are becoming significant for the application of these concepts in companies of all sizes, among them the reduction of hardware and software costs of computers and sensors, as well as the emergence of new free technologies that allow the development and simulation of new systems integrated with a greater number of features that involve the management of previously unimaginable industrial details, such as the administration of all the resources of a machine and allowing the implantation of sensors in them. Given these facts, a system is presented that can direct a small industry or larger industries departments to the advances that can monitor, control, optimize, automate, and make production autonomous, and which can also be deployed gradually in function of maturity in an industrial company.
