Anova Sistemas is specialized in the development of management systems for engineering, logistics, and aeronautics, among other areas. The company has been operating since 2015, based in São José dos Campos Technological Park. Anova Sistemas is up to date with the latest technology to guarantee its customers systems with intelligent and functional solutions that optimize the operations required in the most diverse branches of the market, such as commercial, engineering, logistics and aeronautical. Among the products and services of Anova Sistemas are the i-escola, IEDA, and e-condutor, as well as the Project e-condutor simulador. The IEDA System is an enhancement of the so-called i-escola, used in support of educational management, in order to make it more attractive and with greater number of functionalities. The e-condutor is self-management software. The e-condutor simualdor is a research and development project started in 2015 with the objective of developing a car steering simulator for use in driving schools, aimed at automobiles; this project was motivated by opportunities created by a recent Resolution of the National Traffic Council (CONTRAN) - Resolution No. 543, of July 15, 2015 (DENATRAN, 2015) - which introduced the use of vehicle driving simulators in driving schools. This same Resolution of the CONTRAN points to the imminence of the use of simulators of vehicular direction in driving schools for motorcycles (qualification in category "A"). Thus, in order to anticipate this market opportunity, as well as to seek the constant improvement of the products and services offered, Anova Sistemas has the objective, in this Project, to carry out innovative research to develop an instrumented test rig capable to enable the conduction of a process to define the specifications of a commercial vehicle driving simulator, aimed at motorcycles, for use in driving school training, in order to establish the minimum parameters and requirements necessary to obtain the appropriate characteristics (robustness, realism, efficiency and low cost) for the efficient insertion of such a product into the market. In relation to the state-of-the-art world-wide in the area of vehicle direction simulators for the training of motorcycle drivers, it was verified that this topic has still relatively little research and without commercial options that are both realistic in movements and low cost. The set of activities to be performed include: analysis of a motorcycle's dynamic model, design and assembly of the instrumented test rig, preliminary qualitative measure of realism and training efficiency, definition of the desired minimum parameters, and preliminary analysis of technical and commercial feasibility. These specific activities will be carried out through the application of appropriate methodologies, based on calculations, simulations, experimental tests and qualitative evaluation of performance. At the end of this project, we aim to obtain a set of conclusive results that allows preliminary analysis of the technical and commercial viability of a robust, efficient and low-cost system of a motorcycle driving simulator for use in driving schools.
