Abstract

The research aims to contribute to Baby Studies from dialogue with Deleuze and Guattari, Simondon, Latour and Deligny, and also, from the interlocution with contemporary authors like Jader Janer Lopes, Louise Holt, and Julia Yoko Tachikawa Oliveira. The research, of interdisciplinary nature mobilizes important ideas of sociology, geography, anthropology, philosophy, pedagogy and will be realized by the teacher with the support of two researchers students of masters and three students of graduation and will be used of data already collected throughout the years of 2016 and 2017 in the municipalities of Jundiaí and São Carlos, as well as include new data that are being collected in 2018 by the teacher and staff in day care centers in Campinas and Vinhedo as well as in a university context. The methodology of data recording, collected through participant observation, is the report associated to cartography, an innovative methodology in the field of studies of babies, inspired by the work of Deligny. Other methodological strategies may be adopted in a complementary manner if necessary. Thus, the main objectives are: i) to map the routes and relationships of infants, in order to highlight the social, spatial and alimentary experiences that are related to the processes of individuation, subjectivation and singularization experienced by them in different spaces ; b) contribute to the experimentation of this new methodological approach, for its consolidation and dissemination, c) identify challenges to be overcome in this type of research; d) to explore the contributions of the cartographies for the studies of babies, and for the pedagogy.
