Influence of ceramic material, luting agent and substrate on the esthetic quality of the restoration and properties of resin materials.

Abstract

The aim of this study will be evaluate the influence of ceramic material, resin cement and underlying substrate in the esthetic quality of restoration and mechanical properties of resin materials. The research will be shared in three specific studies: 1) To evaluate the color stability of lithium dissilicate (e.max CAD), zirconia reinforced lithium silicate (Celtra Duo) and hybrid ceramic (Vita-Enamic CAD), analyzed on different substrates (metal, zirconia and enamel), with Try-in materials and luted with resin cements (RelyX Veneer, Variolink Esthetic LC and RelyX Ultimate); 2) To evaluate the color stability of lithium dissilicate (e.max CAD), zirconia reinforced lithium silicate (Celtra Duo) and hybrid ceramic (Vita-Enamic CAD) with different thickness (0.3 to 2.0mm), luted on enamel with different power output light curing unit, submitted to UV aging and 3) To evaluate the mechanical properties (nanohardness and elastic modulus) and degree of conversion of resin cements (RelyX Veneer, Variolink Esthetic LC and RelyX Ultimate), light cured under different thickness of ceramic material (0.3 to 2.0mm) with different power output light. Data will be submitted to normality test and specific test to comparison among the mean (±=0.05). (AU)
