Abstract

The operatie infrastructure of Embrapa Southeast Livestock is under a process of updatting in order to work with concepts of IoT and inteligent farming. In this sense, euqioments must "talk to each other". The first step was taken and all animals of the herds are already identified by means of electronic ear chips. It is now required to make possible to colect data from animal weighage through electronic devices adaptable to bluetooth technologie. Those data can then be transmitted to a mobile receptor (tablets or Iphone) using a signal carrier stick will allow for more efficiency and accuracy with reduction of the ntime spent in field operations in anaimal experimentation. The acquisition of the asked equipments will address this advance. (AU)
