Adequacy of infrastructure for installation and operation of multiuser equipment.

Abstract

In 2017, the institution was considered by MCTI / FINEP / CT-INFRA-PROINFRA 02/2014 Multiuser Equipment with the amount of R $ 783,469.00, which allowed the acquisition of a mass spectrometer coupled to a liquid chromatography system (UPLC- MS / MS Xevo G2-XS QTOF) that is part of the equipment park that makes up a new laboratory called CENTRAL ANALYTICAL MULTIUSUÁRIOThe equipment stands out for the greater chromatographic efficiency, sensitivity, good resolution, being a fundamental tool in the analysis of complex matrices as samples of clinical, biological, pharmaceutical and environmental origin. The system consists of an ultra-performance liquid chromatograph and a high-resolution mass spectrometer, in addition to components necessary for the operation of the system such as pumps, nitrogen generators, it will be necessary to acquire a system of UPS computers and a platform equipment. This equipment will be shared and will compose the analytical instrumentation central to support USF research. As a result, the coordination of the USF Stricto Sensu Post-Graduation Center, together with the faculty / researchers of the University decided unanimously to use RTI FAPESP in the amount of R $ 34,972.00 to acquire the aforementioned items.
