Since 2021, FAPESP has joined the FINEP's Centelha-SP Program and has been responsible for its operation in the State of São Paulo.
The Centelha Program is an initiative to encourage innovative entrepreneurship, aiming to transform innovative ideas into successful ventures.
The program objective is to stimulate the creation of innovative ventures, based on the generation of new ideas as well as to disseminate the innovative entrepreneurship culture throughout the national territory – by means of encouraging the actors’ mobilization and institutional articulation in local, state, and regional innovation ecosystems in the country.
