Pesquisador de Produtividade em Pesquisa do CNPq, Nível 1D, possui Graduação em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (2001), Mestrado em Engenharia Elétrica pela Unicamp (2002), Ph.D. em Engenharia de Telecomunicações pela Scuola Superiore Sant´Anna - Itália e University of Bath - Inglaterra (2006) e Pós-Doutorado em Engenharia Elétrica pela Unicamp (2009). Trabalha atualmente como Professor Adjunto IV do Instituto Nacional de Telecomunicações (INATEL). De Março de 2009 a Agosto de 2011, foi Professor concursado da Unicamp na área de Telecomunicações. Por diversas vezes foi Invited Researcher de universidades renomeadas internacionalmente, tais como University of Oulu-Finlândia (2017), Technical University of Denmark-Dinamarca (2013), Max Planck Institute- Alemanha (2010), University of Bath - Inglaterra (2004, 2005 e 2007) e Scuola Superiore Sant´Anna - Itália (2015, 2017 e 2019). As suas principais áreas de pesquisa são: 5G, 6G, Antenas, Inteligêncial Artificial, Internet das Coisas (IoT), Fotônica de Micro-ondas, Comunicações Ópticas e Radares. Arismar tem 10 patentes, 25 produtos transferidos para a indústria e 250 artigos publicados em periódicos e congressos internacionais e nacionais. (Fonte: Currículo Lattes)
