Birthplace: Brazil

Postdoctoral fellow of the Reserach, Innovaion and Diffusion Center for Neuromathematics (RIDC NeuroMat, Fapesp support). PhD in Physics by the Institute for Complex Systems and Mathematical Biology (ICSMB), University of Aberdeen, UK. Has a BSc Physics by the University of Campinas (Unicamp). Specialist in time-series analysis and inference of cause-effect relations from data. Currently works in Neurosciences, applying such mathematical methods for the analysis of electroencephalogram signals, thus identfying how different brain regions link due to stimulii, as well as differences resulting from clinical conditions. Previously, also applied such theoretical methods for the analysis of signals in seismology and gravimetry. Has experience in Atomic Physics, having collaborated on the optimization of a laser source for a Calcium Magneto-Optical Trap (Lasers and Applications Group, IFGW/Unicamp, 2014), and on the development of a gravity sensor based in cold atoms (University of Aberdeen, 2013). In addition, was external voluntary researcher of the Laboratory of Social Studies and Research in Disasters (NEPED/UFSCar) in 2010-2015, mainly supporting the quantitative analysis of official records of disasters in Brazil, and collaborating with data collection in field and documentary research in Brazil and abroad.
