Over the past decades, the Standard Model (SM) of particle physics has been an extremely successful theory, providing an excellent description of most of the phenomena of particle physics. Yet, there are fundamental physics phenomena that the SM does not explain adequately: for instance, the origin of neutrino masses, Dark Matter, matter-antimatter asymmetry in the universe. To solve these problems and go further, we must look for evidence for physics beyond the Standard Model. This research proposal, described below, is mainly founded based on these two pillars: both on experimental results and theoretical motivation.
